Globular Cactus is a distinctive cactus appreciated for its rounded shape, fleshy stem, and neatly arranged areoles. Its surface may appear green, grey-green, or purplish brown, creating an attractive contrast with its prominent ribs and compact form.

Under suitable growing conditions, this cactus may produce bright yellow flowers. The delicate petals contrast beautifully with the sturdy, rounded body, adding seasonal interest and ornamental value.

It prefers bright light, good air circulation, and a well-draining growing medium. Allow the soil to dry thoroughly between waterings, and avoid leaving the roots in standing water. A cactus mix containing pumice, coarse sand, or other mineral materials can help improve drainage. Reduce watering during cooler periods when growth slows.

Globular Cactus is suitable for sunny balconies, patios, windowsills, and specialist cactus collections. Its distinctive shape makes it an attractive specimen for decorative pots and miniature desert displays. As “士童” is a common horticultural name, the exact botanical species should be confirmed with the supplier before assigning a scientific name.
